International Bank - Learning Solutions

We recently worked with a well-regarded international bank client with operations in fourteen islands in the Caribbean and who is part of a global financial organization. The bank has a full suite of personal, business, and corporate banking services, in addition to wealth management and investment services.

Business Problem: The client delivers corporate training to an organization of 3500 employees over fourteen islands offering a variety of e-learning courses and instructor led training. The client is challenged to manage and align outsourced content with internal content under a unified delivery method that provides the level of security that the banking industry demands. Additionally, the client's training organization manages curricula for executive development, sales specialists and client facing employees where audiences differ in level of education and experience hence curriculum design is critical to learner engagement. Third, the bank's training team is tasked to deliver compliance training under the various regulatory frameworks that oversee operations in the countries where the bank operates.

Solution Provided: We have created custom functionality within the eFront Learning Management System to help them automatically respond to changes in their organizational structure and to provide employees continuous access to the appropriate training materials. The system was originally deployed behind the customer’s corporate firewall in Barbados to leverage the security they have built into their own network but recently DHx designed, built, and migrated the entire environment to Amazon

Business Benefits: The learning management system provides a unified delivery method for training and the ability to manage audiences and tailor curricula in a way that provides for easy compliance with regulatory audits as well as minimal need for administration.
